The result of a lifetime of research and practice by theologian, author and educator, Rev. Dr. Jerome Berryman, the Godly Play method is a curriculum of spiritual practice exploring the mystery of God’s presence in our lives.

Godly Play resumes the first Sunday after Labor Day. Come join us!

Weekly Bible Study

Led by long-time educator Rhonda Kindig after the Wednesday morning eucharist, this gathering goes deep on scripture, taking entire books one chapter at a time. There are also often baked goods.

Education for Ministry

By exploring where our story, God’s story, the World’s story, and our own understanding intersect, we can glean insights into God’s dream for us, and apply those insights to our lives and our ministry. This exploration is called theological reflection.

Education for Ministry (EfM), provides a safe, nonjudgmental space to learn theological reflection.  A unique four-year certificate program from the University of the South (Sewanee), EfM invites participants into small, mentored groups that provide the framework to practice this important tool while exploring their faith.  EfM helps lay people encounter the breadth and depth of the Christian tradition and bring it into conversation with their experiences of the world as they study, worship, and engage in theological reflection together.

Contact the parish office to find out when the next EfM session will be starting.

Women’s spirituality group

St. Thomas offers a young women’s spirituality group the second and fourth Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:30, next to the kindergarten room, on the second floor. This group will gather for a short Bible Study, Reflection, Prayer, and a confidential time to share. Please let us know in advance if you need childcare, please contact the church office for arrangements.

Youth Ministry

Our youth ministry program provides opportunities for children and teens for Bible Study, social activities, and service. Current service projects include support of the Isaiah I:17 House for youth transitioning into foster care.
